An extravagant wedding reception was planned by the Ali family for their elder son & his beautiful bride.

The couple, so in love with Turkey & the Ali family believed to have some ancestral connect with that country, always wanted a wedding in Turkey. But with a guest list of almost 4000, it seemed impossible to go to Turkey.

The pre-wedding celebrations & Nikah took place in Mumbai and the newlyweds returned to Moradabad for the Grand reception.

The Wedding in Vogue team conceptualised & created a theme which had a look & feel of a Turkish mosque, with even the exact colour, bringing a part of that exotic country to the city of Moradabad.

The bride, Ramsha, came home after the wedding, to a welcome worthy for a queen.

With a luxury car as her chariot, driven personally by the groom’s brother, she watched breathlessly as the celebrations began. As the couple entered, an enormous LED screen (20 feet by 16 feet) displayed personalised welcome messages from the groom, Danish’s family. 300 running feet of candles lit up her pathway, as she stepped out of the car.

Artists danced and performed a special welcome act on hover boards, and with pyros in their hands, they made a canopy of sparks for the bride to walk under. Dancers performed a specially choreographed piece on the songs of Bajirao Mastani. This was followed by an up-beat performance by a Dhol party that was specially flown in from Delhi to welcome the bride. The house was decorated beautifully with her favourite colours and flowers, nothing less than a royal abode.

The groom’s family decided to shift into the new house on the same day the bride was welcomed in the family. The new house was inaugurated by the bride by cutting a ceremonial ribbon; her hand prints preserved in POP, the stunning magic moment forever frozen in time.

Amidst the Turkish décor and a mesmerising ambience, the couple made a grand entrance to the function. A stairway from the stars was created & the couple appeared on the top of the stairway on a hydraulic riser. An International Flute Artist descended ahead of the couple playing mesmerizing tunes on her metallic flute.

The Couple, much in love with each other, descended the stairs, amidst cold pyros lighting either sides of the stairs and the guests cheering with sheer joy.

As the evening progressed the guests were entertained and danced to Sanam Puri’s enchanting songs.

Everything from the wedding cards, to the gift hampers, logos, ribbons, to overall décor & even the minutest things were planned in the enticing colour of lapis lazuli which was used in Turkish designs & decor.

The blue hue around the venue was mesmerizing with the winters & the fog playing their part very well.

For 26-days the team worked day & night in the thick of winter to construct approx. 90,000 Sq. ft. of area, the dream set for the Ali family that mesmerized the people of Moradabad.

The wedding reception in all its grandeur & fervour was considered the best Moradabad has ever seen till date.
